LMTV #14: Integrity — Staying on Course

Integrity is a kind of moral compass that senses resonance with Life Purpose. Learn to use this tool to detect and correct misalignments in your life.

Integrity is one of those things that all of us seem to know and recognize intuitively, even if we can’t define the term in a succinct way. Not only that, but integrity seems to be a very highly prized quality in others. If we are in relationship with a person of high integrity—that is, a person whose words and actions are consistently aligned—then we tend to develop a high degree of trust for that person, even if we disagree 100% with what they are choosing to do.

On the other hand, if we are in relationship with someone who is out of integrity on a fairly regular basis, then our trust level will eventually drop to a minimum, and we’ll probably not want to be in relationship with that person—no matter how amazing we might otherwise judge them to be.

But what exactly is integrity? Why is it such a desirable quality? What does it mean to live a life of integrity? And how can we use integrity as a way to keep ourselves aligned with our Spiritual Purpose for Being?

Today, we examine these questions and more, and we provide you with some tools you can use to help keep yourself in integrity.

LMTV #13: The Magic in the Mystery

No matter how much planning you do, you never really know what’s going to happen. Well, find out what happens when there is no plan at all!

When you are preparing to do something, you almost certainly start with some kind of plan, right? This is something that most of us do, and it’s a great idea. But no matter how much planning you do, there are always things that can go wrong, things that you can’t possibly anticipate. In other words, as the saying goes, you pretty much have to Expect the Unexpected!

Well, in this installment of Life Mastery TV, we tempt fate by having no plan at all! That’s right, in this episode, we come on the show with no specific agenda and just see what happens. But if you’ve watched us before, you just know that something interesting and magical will happen, no matter how things turn out.

If you like to step into the unknown now and then, and maybe feel a little fear in your body because you don’t know exactly what to expect, then this show is for you!

Enjoy!

LMTV #12: Free to Be ME!

Independence Day is a great time to talk about freedom, so today, we discuss what it means to be spiritually free.

Just thinking about the words “Free” and “Freedom” can make your head explode in all sorts of directions, don’t you think? If you live in Europe or North America, then you are probably told on a fairly regular basis just how free you are and how much it costs to maintain this freedom! And yet, we may not “feel” free because of our perception of what is really going on in the world.

But spiritual freedom… That’s a much more interesting—if esoteric—subject, right? All the more reason for us to tackle it! In this week’s episode, we talk about

True Freedom. Authentic Freedom. Inner Freedom.

The kind of freedom you can only attain from within. The kind of freedom that, once achieved, no one can ever take from you. Not to be trite about it, but this Inner Freedom may just be your most important Life Matter. Ever.

You really want this don’t you? Well, you can HAVE it, and it isn’t really as hard as you might think. After all, if you free your mind, then your inner peace, happiness, and fulfillment will surely follow.

Check out our video and then, in the comment section below, tell us how you feel about what we’ve shared.

LMTV #11: Expectation is the Mother of Frustration

Expectation is very different from anticipation, and attachment to desired outcomes can lead to disappointment.

We humans tend to think of expectations as necessities. We expect fresh food at the market. We expect others to follow the rules of the road. We expect people to behave in a civilized, if not nice, manner. But what happens when things don’t go according to our “plan”? What happens inside us when our expectations aren’t met?

Expectations are one of those double-edged swords that can cut into our peace and happiness. While one part of us may think it’s important to have expectations, another part of us knows how much misery and suffering our unmet expectations can cause:

  • When we get bad service at the restaurant, our “meal is ruined”.
  • When the price of gas keeps going up, we get angry.
  • When somebody doesn’t show up on time, we get stressed.

And what’s the common theme every time one of our expectations goes unanswered?

WE FEEL WORSE. . .

We set ourselves up for something, and then when that something doesn’t happen, it takes a toll on our attitude, emotions, and energy. Expectations are one of those “problems” disguised as a solution!

In this episode, we discuss this issue in some depth. Check it out and learn how to distinguish between realistic anticipation and frustrating expectation.

LMTV #10: A Friend Indeed

What makes a good friendship? Should we expect anything from it? What kind of friend are you?

Friendship. This is an important topic, and no doubt you consider friendship to be one of the most important things in your life. We all value friendships in life, and friendship takes on many forms. Friends support each other in many different ways, and it’s easy for us to take our friends for granted, don’t you think? In fact, for some people, it may not even be clear who your friends really are until the going gets rough for you.

In this week’s episode, we discuss the topic of friendship from a variety of angles. Some of the questions we examine are:

  • What constitutes a “good” friendship?
  • What kind of friend are you?
  • What kind of friend do you want to be?
  • What is reasonable to expect from a friendship?
  • What happens when expectations are not met?
  • When is a friendship over?

And as always, we follow the conversation wherever it goes, so be prepared for some surprises and some interesting turns! After you watch the video, please remember to leave a comment—your feedback literally feeds us!

LMTV #8: In is the ONLY Way Out

If you’re like most people, then from time to time you’ve probably found yourself outside of yourself for answers or support.

After all, who hasn’t sought acknowledgement, validation or approval from other people? It seems like something that most of us do. And yet, have you noticed how unfulfilling that approval can be when it comes from someone else? Oh, sure, it might feel good for a short while, but the truth is, the feeling doesn’t last. Why?

Because TRUE unconditional love and acceptance can only come from within.

In this installment of Life Mastery TV, we discuss the importance of bringing your focus back into your S.E.L.F. (your Spiritually Empowered Life Force) as a way of:

  • Recognizing the truth of Who You Really Are;
  • Identifying and deconstructing dysfunctional and limiting beliefs;
  • Uncovering old (childhood) wounds and bringing in unconditional love to heal them; and
  • Getting clarity about your REAL purpose here on this planet.

Watch the video and find out how you can use the power of introspection and listening to your inner voice to make your life matter even more!

LMTV #7: A Look at Spiritual Psychology

Today, we’re going to take a little trip into the spiritual realm.

LMTV #6: Conscious Self-Creation

“Conscious Self-Creation”… What is it?

Did you know that:

  • You are in a constant state of change and evolution?
  • The way you change is largely determined by your own thoughts and beliefs, most of which you are not even aware of?
  • You can bring awareness to your thoughts and beliefs and thereby consciously influence how you will change in the next moment?

Imagine bringing intention and purpose to all the changes in your life. Imagine choosing the changes that best suit your Life Purpose, your Higher Calling. Imagine how much more empowered you would feel if you had control over these things.

As odd as it may sound, you actually have total control over these things!

We are both practitioners and coaches of Conscious Self-Creation, and in Episode #6, we share some of our wisdom about how you can become more of a practitioner yourself. If you want to start choosing your path and your evolutionary process more consciously, just watch this video and begin making use of some of the tools we provide.

LMTV #5: Applying the Law of Attraction

No doubt you’ve heard of the Law of Attraction.

If you do a Google search for the term, you’ll find millions of entries on the internet, and many of these will lead you to coaches, teachers, facilitators and others who are more than willing to teach you all about it. But the fact is, a lot of sites try to simplify the Law of Attraction down to something pithy and easy-to-remember, such as “like attracts like”.

Well, hold up there for a second! The Law of Attraction is not quite so simple, and because of the misinformation about it on the web, some of what you hear can be downright confusing!

For this very reason, we have invited none other than Bob Doyle—a recognized expert on the subject—to share his wisdom about this amazing law and to help clear up some of the confusion.

Just in case you don’t know who Bob Doyle is, please direct your attention to a little movie that came out a few years ago that focused directly on the subject of the Law of Attraction…that movie was called—you guessed it—The Secret. And Bob Doyle was one of the featured teachers in that movie.

To put it mildly, you are in for a super big treat during the Episode 5 webcast, so take some time to watch the recording. And don’t forget to leave a comment!

LMTV #4: Approvalitis…The Search for a Cure!

Approvalitis. Even though you may never have heard that term before, you probably already know what it means, don’t you?

Approvalitis is a dis-ease of the mind, common to many people on the planet. In fact, it may well be the only dis-ease that everyone gets at some time in their lives—and maybe even more than once! And some people never get over it; they are affected by it all their lives!

Approvalitis does the following:

  • keeps you from making decisions of the heart because the mind believes that you have to get permission from someone else first;
  • requires you to wait for someone else’s approval before you do anything;
  • debilitates and disempowers you because it keeps you inside a box that severely limits how you show up.

If you are not living the life you want today, then there is a pretty good chance that you are afflicted by approvalitis in one way or another. And we want to help you find immediate relief!

So, check out Episode #4 of Life Mastery TV and follow our in-depth discussion about this epidemic disease. We provide resources that can help you to:

  • recognize your own need for approval from others;
  • identify and accept the ONLY real source of approval;
  • realize that you are fully empowered to make decisions without anyone else’s permission;
  • free yourself from the self-talk that leads to the false external need for approval in the first place.

This is a very liberating discussion, but check it out for yourself. And please—remember to leave a comment at the bottom of the page!
