LMTV #113: Movin’ On!

All Things Come to an End—Even Good Things!

The Soul Talk Guys have been bringing you amazing episodes—full of wisdom and learning—since their very first installment on April 18, 2014. It has been a wonderful, magical, and inspirational ride, and David & Tommy are extremely proud of what they have created together and delivered to you.

But we all come to points in our lives where we have to make decisions, and recently Tommy had a personal A-Ha that woke him up to a whole new opportunity in his life—something that he simply cannot ignore. Unfortunately, this new venture means that he won’t have the bandwidth available to continue with Life Mastery TV, so he will be co-hosting his final episode this week.

What does this mean for Life Mastery TV? Well, clearly things are going to be different going forward, and David will be looking for new ways to continue bringing this material to you. But for this week, the focus will be on celebrating one of the co-founders of this amazing team, and to wish him well on his continuing journey.

So, please join David & Tommy for the final episode of Life Mastery TV in its current form. Join the program to find out what to expect from Tommy and to wish him well in his new venture.

LMTV #98: Shadow Dance

What Happens When Your Shadow and My Shadow Decide to Interact?

Ours is a human dance of dichotomies, many of which are polar opposites:

  • Conscious and Unconscious;
  • Yin and Yang;
  • Good and Bad;
  • Happy and Sad;
  • Light and Dark;
  • Living and Dying.

These polarities are what make life so rich and wonderful, and it would be difficult to imagine any kind of real experience without them.

Maybe you’re familiar with the magical and entertaining “shadow dance” of Indonesian puppetry. The real magic is that you don’t see what’s really going on or who’s pulling the strings!

These puppet shows remind us of our own behaviors. Have you ever found yourself acting in ways where you wondered to yourself, “What on earth came over me?” When this happens, you might well feel as if there is a hidden force that is pulling your strings!

You may remember back a ways, the Soul Talk Guys talked about Beata LewisIlluminating the Shadow, where they shared some perspectives about the concept of “psychic shadow”. Well, in this episode, they’re back at it, but this time they look at shadow from a slightly different perspective. With Tommy away on vacation in India, David is joined by Beata Lewis to talk about what happens when the shadows of two or more people come out to play and start to interact with one another. You may not have thought about this before, but you have surely experienced the phenomenon, and as the Life Mastery TV team talk about it, you may well recognize and learn something more about

Shadow Dance.

From a personal transformation perspective, true self-awareness and mastery demand the tough work of engaging with your shadow. Bringing your shadow to conscious awareness allows for the emergence of inner knowing and light. And as you wrestle with demons, you usually find ways to heal and love parts of yourself that you may have previously considered to be unlovable. And that only leads to a more authentic—and generally more fulfilling—life.

So, make some time to watch the video of David and Beata in this week’s episode of Life Mastery TV.

LMTV #90: Embrace the Force

As Humans Wake up to Conscious Evolution, More and More of us Recognize and Realize that We’re All One…

Well, what exactly do we mean by that? What do we mean when we feel the energy of connection and say that “We’re All One”?

  • Are we one Body? Seems unlikely.
  • Are we one Mind? Possibly.
  • Are we one Spirit? Almost certainly!

Great sages and enlightened beings of current and past times all seem to agree with the idea that we are One in Spirit. At the spiritual level, we all originate from the same Source, the same Light, the same Consciousness, the same Energy.

Consider what happens when you take a drop of water and release it into the ocean. Instantly, you can no longer tell where the drop ends and the ocean begins. In a way, every drop of water from the Ocean is the Ocean itself. And the same is true for us—at least from a spiritual perspective. We are unique, individual drops of Consciousness Incarnate. And we manifest in the physical plane as material bodies with environmental sensors (eyes, ears, etc.), and brains like computers. (In fact, if you think about if for a moment, computers are actually created to mimic the brain!)

Comprehend the magnitude of realizing that you are, at the spiritual level, One with Everything. The power in understanding and then realizing this for yourself is immense! To recognize and acknowledge that you’re part of the whole grand Source of all Energy and Love is an amazing realization. An amazing—and liberating—A-HA.

As we take our first steps into the New Year, the Soul Talk Guys invite and encourage you to:

  • Embrace the Universal Force within you.
  • Embrace your True Nature.
  • Embrace the truth that you are an equal part of the great Ocean of Universal Energy.

If you make no other commitment, set no other intention for 2016, then at least open yourself to this great, wonderful and liberating truth! For when you do, No longer will you be at the mercy and whim of other beings to provide you dribbles of left-over, crummy life-force-energy. No longer will you be under the spell of Approvalitis, always pandering to and pleasing others so they don’t take away their attention, affection, or love from you.

To know you are plugged directly into the Source of all Energy, and not to feel drained or left out all the time, is one of the most magnificent changes in perspective you can make for yourself.

This week—on New Year’s Day, to be sure!—Tommy & David will be joined by some of the Brilliant Lights on the planet. And together, they’ll talk about, and show you, where the Great Electrical Socket in the Sky is and how you can tap into it. Right Now!

Be sure to plug in.

LMTV #81: Thrive in a Box

What would happen if you could live beyond the boundaries placed on you by the world?

Eckhart Tolle recently shared an illuminating perspective on the world we live in. He offered the idea that most of the systems—or structures as he calls them—that we live in were created by unenlightened, ego-based minds. Created by humans with good intentions and great educations, but nonetheless, limited Conscious Awareness. Tolle uses the term Unconscious Thought to explain perspectives that recognize the ego-mind as the sole identity of a human being. Someone completely identified with the ego-mind—or pain body, in Tolle's terms—has no separation between the mind and the self. Conscious Thought only occurs in people who are awakened and no longer under the spell of the ego-mind.

Right now, in this amazing time in Earth’s history, there are more and more humans awakening from their Unconscious Thought state and becoming ever more conscious in their thoughts, words, actions and emotions. And while this shift in human consciousness is wonderful and amazing, Tolle reminds us that while we’re evolving individually, most of the structures we live in were created prior to the beginning of this shift. In other words, those of us who are going through this inner awakening are actually living in two worlds!

In one world, we’re becoming more and more aware of our true nature, and simultaneously letting go of old beliefs, patterns and behaviors that no longer serve us. At the same time, we are still working in, learning in, being governed by, being medicated by, being fed by, and generally being infused by the systems and structures developed during a less conscious period in human history.

No fault of ours. No fault of our ancestors. No fault of anyone at all… This isn’t about shaming, blaming, or pointing fingers!

We just happened to be born at an amazing time when a huge shift is happening all around us. A huge shift in systems and structures we are born in, raised in, and seem to adopt as “the way things are”.

Notice, that this concept applies to:

  • the corporate structures we work in;
  • the financial system we must trade in;
  • the religious structures we’re raised in;
  • the educational systems we’re taught in;
  • the medical systems we rely on for health;
  • the political systems that rule and govern us;
  • the nutritional and food structures we’re fed by;
  • the entertainment and marketing systems that influence us; and
  • virtually any other structure that you care to name.

In the long run, these box-like structures simply won’t survive in a more conscious world. Some will be changed from within; others will collapse and be replaced. The How and When of these major transitions are being discussed in many different forums all over the planet. But big question that doesn’t seem to get a lot of air-time is:

“What do we do in the meantime?”

Well, that is precisely the question that the Soul Talk Guys plan to address in this week’s episode of Life Mastery TV!

As it happens, David is Beata Lewisheading out of town to lead a men’s weekend in Racine, Wisconsin, so Tommy will be hosting this episode. In order to make this as powerful an interesting as possible, the Soul Talk Guys have invited Beata Lewis back to the show to offer her brilliant perspective to this subject. You may remember Beata from last year when she shared her wisdom on the topic of Trust.

Beata and Tommy will dive deep into ways the Awake and Conscious can Thrive and Grow while still living in the boxes of unconscious structures and systems.

How do we Live Consciously in a Waking World?

How to we Thrive in a Box?

Join Tommy and Beata this week, and see what they have to say about it.

LMTV #37: A Question of Trust

What takes dedication and commitment to build, and a mere lapse of judgment to damage or destroy? Answer: one of our most valued virtues—Trust.

Trust is one of those things that we tend to take for granted most of the time. In fact, trust is widely appreciated as one of the most precious gifts you can give to anyone. Or receive, for that matter. When someone trusts you, in a way, they’re saying to you “I see you as someone who can hold my heart gently, lovingly and compassionately. Thank you!”

According to Ernest Hemingway, “The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.”

When it comes to beginning a relationship, Hemingway’s statement seems obvious—you have to start by trusting the other person. But what happens when the other person does something that violates that trust? What then?

In this episode, David & Tommy are joined by a special guest, Beata Lewis, who is an executive coach specializing in this very issue. As a mediator and former attorney, Beata knows the vital and dynamic nature of agreements, ethics, conflict and trust for true partnering, and she is going to share some of her wisdom on this week’s show.

We talk about all things related to trust. In the video, you’ll learn about:

  • how to establish trust in almost any relationship;
  • how to maintain your own integrity so that you respect the trust you have with others;
  • what to do if trust gets violated on either side of the relationship.

Look, we all make mistakes. We all violate the trust of others. And, if you have any sense of integrity at all, then when this happens, you probably feel sadness or anger or shame because of what you have done. Yes, this is true, but beating yourself up for it is the absolute LAST thing you should do! Because, believe it or not:

  • there are plenty of ways for repairing the damage;
  • there are plenty of ways of getting back into integrity;
  • there are plenty of ways of healing your relationship and rebuilding that trust.

And that is just what David, Tommy and Beata share with you in this episode. So, check out the video and please leave a comment. And if you’d to find out more about Beata Lewis, please check out her website at Bridging Lives.
