LMTV #23: Lighten Up

Sometimes, you just gotta laugh, and this week’s guest, comedian Dickey Bill Wagner, will put some funny in your bones.

If you’ve been following our show with any regularity, you’ll remember that we had an episode a few weeks back called “Go Out and Play!” Well, this week, we invited a special guest, Dickey Bill Wagner, to take it to the next level and to bring some joy and laughter into your life.

Dickey Bill is a professional comedian, actor and producer from the Denver area in Colorado. Like so many gifted comedians, he has a keen power of observation, and he knows how to bring his own quirky perspective to everything.

So, why would we invite a comedian to our show? Well, for a number of reasons:

  • Comedy is a great stress reliever, and humor is one of the best medicines in the universe.
  • Comedians know how to have fun, and have a gift of seeing the humor in everything.
  • This helps us all to reduce the drama in our lives and to take ourselves a little less seriously…
  • Which means we get to keep things in perspective, and

LIGHTEN UP!

…in more ways than one!

If you want to know more about Dickey Bill, or maybe attend one of his upcoming shows, then check out his website at DickeyBillWagner.com.

LMTV #22: Don’t Take It Personally

If you find yourself suffering because you tend to take things personally, then this week’s discussion is for you!

If you’ve ever read The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, then you probably remember that his 2nd agreement is “Don’t Take Anything Personally”. Of all the agreements described in Ruiz’s book, this is probably the one that challenges people the most.

The ego-mind does a very good job of keeping us on alert; in its ongoing mission to keep us safe, it regularly engages in things like:

  • telling us that we are not good enough;
  • warning us that whatever we are about to try is going to fail miserably;
  • reminding us that people are bad, and that they are all out to get us.

And if we haven’t been doing the work necessary to heal old wounds and re-connect to who we really are, then we actually tend to believe our ego-minds. This, of course, makes us extremely sensitive to what is going on around us, and it’s easy for us to fall into the disempowering and debilitating trap of taking things personally.

If you would like to free yourself from the idea that when people do things that cause you pain, they do it on purpose, then you owe it to yourself to check out this week’s discussion. Imagine how much lighter you’ll be when you

Don’t Take Anything Personally!

In this episode, we tackle this subject head-on and leave you with some tools that can really help you to stop taking things personally.

LMTV #21: The Forgiveness Habit

How would you like to practice unconditional gratitude while developing a habit of forgiveness?

Many of us find ourselves caught up in an inner dialog in which our ego-mind wants to blame others for all the bad things that happen to us in our lives. And our attachment to pointing fingers outward keeps us bound up by the drama of trying to “get even at all costs.” What we don’t realize is that we are often just poisoning ourselves when we stay tied to this cycle. And this often leads to various forms of mental illness and can even manifest in physical illness as well.

Well, believe it or not, there is a cure, and it’s called

FORGIVENESS

For this week’s episode, we invited an amazing woman, JoAnn Rotermund, author of the book The Forgiveness Habit, to share some of her wisdom with you.

JoAnn has has gone through a pretty harrowing journey in her life, and when she came out of her dark pit of despair, what she had learned led her to become a well-known expert in the area of forgiveness and gratitude. In today’s program, she shares a little about her own life journey, and a LOT about what could very well be THE cure for what ails the world right now.

You can find out more about Jo Ann at her website, The Forgiveness Habit.

LMTV #20: LMTV Free-For-All

A 1-hour special episode, with answers to some of life’s most challenging questions…questions from people like YOU!

This week marks our TWENTIETH (20th) episode of Life Mastery TV, and to celebrate, we are doing something different (not to mention dangerous!). In this episode, we introduce you to the Free-For-All Fishbowl.

After spending a few weeks collecting topic ideas and questions from loyal viewers who have been helping to make the show as successful as it is, we decided to put all the questions into a fishbowl, and to select one question at a time—at random—from the bowl. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Life Mastery TV episode if we didn’t get into the act somehow, so, our job is to jump “into the deep end” and answer whatever questions actually come out of the fishbowl.

Here’s what you’re in for:

  • One solid hour of conversation (probably generously populated by plenty of chaos and mayhem). You read that right. This show is 60 minutes long instead of the usual 30 minutes.
  • Lots of interesting topics and questions from viewers just like you who just want to get answers.
  • Plenty of laughs and lots of fun—but also lots of great wisdom shared by two guys who have all the answers. (Or at least a few of them!)

Remember: please leave your comments at the bottom of this page.

LMTV #18: Two Words That Will Change Your Life

There are two amazing words that are more powerful than any others—in the entire Universe!

Each and every one of us has a lot more power and capability than we might imagine. In fact, it’s pretty likely that you’ve heard some teachers talk about humans using phrases like:

  • You have infinite potential
  • You are endlessly creative
  • You can do anything you set your mind to
  • You can have anything your heart desires

Well, you know what? It may be hard to believe—especially when you are faced with difficult challenges in your life—but ALL of these statements are TRUE. The only thing that really stops you from doing what you want to do, or having what you want to have, or fulfilling your soul’s purpose is… your unconscious limiting beliefs. And you know what else? It’s your beliefs—conscious or otherwise—that really declare to the universe who and what you are choosing to be in this moment.

In this episode, we discuss this idea and provide you with some suggestions about how you can harness the unlimited power of two simple words that will…

change everything!

So take some time to watch the video and find out how you can use the two most powerful words in the universe to make your life REALLY matter!

LMTV #17: Juicy Relationships that Matter

How would you like to eliminate “Maybe” and make your relationships really juicy? Learn some secrets here…

What does it mean to have a Juicy Relationship? Perhaps certain words come to mind: intimate, connected, compassionate, loving, exciting, sexy, honest, open, and so on. But what makes a relationship juicy? And—assuming that you really want a juicy relationship—how do I get me one of those?

These are the sorts of questions we look at during Episode 17. And to help us do that, we’ve invited two amazing relationship specialists to join us: Tom Bartley and his wife and business partner Staci Welch-Bartley.

Tom and Staci have figured out how to create magic in a primary relationship and generously share some of their secrets with us right here. You are not going to want to miss this episode of our show, because it’s a very lively and exciting discussion about a subject that is important to all of us.

So check out the video, leave a comment at the bottom of the page, and then head over to visit Tom & Staci’s website at Lease on Love.

LMTV #16: Go Out And Play!

Join us for some insanely creative ideas on how to add some spontaneity & fun to your diet of personal growth!

Remember when we were kids? School’s out. Summertime. All we needed to do was throw on just enough clothes not to embarrass Mom, and out the door we went.

  • Making up games on the fly.
  • Creating toys out of cardboard boxes.
  • Inventing adventures along the way.
  • Free Spirits… Playing. Creating. Being.

Fast forward to today…don’t you just wonder “Where did that ‘Me’ go?”

Well, the truth is, that ‘Me’ didn’t go anywhere! S/He is still in there—inside you—and probably itching to have some fun!

In our ongoing search for the grail of Who Am I?, it’s really important (not to mention just plain sensible AND healthy) to remember how to have some fun. Isn’t it? Well this week, we spontaneously decided to invite FUN to have an honored place in our discussion!

That’s right! This week, we’ll take you on a fun adventure. We’ll play with the idea of having some fun once in a while. We’ll create a game together and make an adult plan to “Go Out and Play”…just like the kid you really are!

LMTV #15: Eliminating Blocks to Your Purpose

Most Spiritual or Metaphysical philosophies teach that “everyone has a Life Purpose“. Often, however, we experience blockages to our Life Purpose—including the most serious blockage of not even being aware of a purpose!

This week, we have invited a special guest, Chris Kyle, to participate in a deep discussion about purpose—with specific focus on how to remove some of those blockages.

As the creator and host of The Power of Purpose Online Summit, which drew 5000 participants from 85 countries around the world, Chris is definitely a world class expert on the subject of Life Purpose, and the perfect addition to this week’s webinar.

Enjoy the video, and remember to leave a comment at the bottom of this page. Also, when you get a chance, please visit Chris’s website at The Ascendant Company.

LMTV #14: Integrity — Staying on Course

Integrity is a kind of moral compass that senses resonance with Life Purpose. Learn to use this tool to detect and correct misalignments in your life.

Integrity is one of those things that all of us seem to know and recognize intuitively, even if we can’t define the term in a succinct way. Not only that, but integrity seems to be a very highly prized quality in others. If we are in relationship with a person of high integrity—that is, a person whose words and actions are consistently aligned—then we tend to develop a high degree of trust for that person, even if we disagree 100% with what they are choosing to do.

On the other hand, if we are in relationship with someone who is out of integrity on a fairly regular basis, then our trust level will eventually drop to a minimum, and we’ll probably not want to be in relationship with that person—no matter how amazing we might otherwise judge them to be.

But what exactly is integrity? Why is it such a desirable quality? What does it mean to live a life of integrity? And how can we use integrity as a way to keep ourselves aligned with our Spiritual Purpose for Being?

Today, we examine these questions and more, and we provide you with some tools you can use to help keep yourself in integrity.
