]]>For many people, Gratitude represents a turning point from the selfish what’s-in-it-for-me attitude conditioned into us, to the place where we can actually be grateful for whatever life has to offer. To the point of becoming thankful even for the challenges and opportunities for growth.
Feeling gratitude is also associated with the opening and proper functioning of the seventh chakra—the crown chakra. The opening of the crown chakra, which happens when we clear away the blocks of lack, and reconnect with pure gratitude to our source of plenty, is a milestone in all of our journeys, often marked by the realization that we’re not in this life all alone, and that we’re connected to everything—and everyone!
As with many things spiritual, Gratitude is an idea, a concept, a feeling, a belief. And while it’s powerful in its own right, some people may find it difficult to connect to it. Gratitude may be one of those things that’s easy to say, and sometimes hard to get or to live by.
So, in this season of being thankful and expressing gratitude, the Soul Talk Guys devote an episode to discussing solid ways to practice gratitude—by providing a kind of spiritual map from the what to the how. And to help them bring some great wisdom to the discussion, they are joined by none other than June Schreiber.
As people train to become Enlightened Buddhas (people who have completely abandoned all delusions of the mind), one of the six key practices a Bodhisattva focuses on doing well is Giving. In this sense, Giving doesn’t necessarily mean sharing energy in monetary form—although that is certainly one way to do it.
There are many ways we can practice Giving, such as:
These are all simple, yet very powerful acts of
Giving. Generosity. Helping. Walking the walk of Gratitude.
And in this episode, Giving is the topic under discussion. David & Tommy discuss Genuine Generosity—giving without expecting anything in return. No expectation of praise; no ‘thank you’ required. Just unselfish, unconditional, pure generosity.
So if you’d like to have a little taste of this for yourself during the Holiday Season, join David & Tommy, along with their guest June Schreiber, and treat yourself to A Generous Helping of gratitude.
What better way to practice gratitude than to generously give of yourself for the betterment of others!

]]>Collectively, we humans have a lot of different ideas and beliefs about love, and many of them seem to be restrictive and disempowering. We talk about things like
We also seem to have this rather odd idea that one way for us to show our love for someone is by telling them how much we “want” them or “need” them! It’s almost as if we elevate our desire for connection into a craving that has the flavor of an addiction. And worse, our culture seems to promote this idea and give us the impression that this is somehow “romantic”.
And yet, what we regularly fail to recognize—or perhaps we recognize it but choose simply to accept it as “normal”—is the degree of neediness and clinginess we carry into our expressions of love toward others.
As you might have already guessed, David & Tommy recognize this as a problem and want to do something about it. While there may be aspects of love in the behaviors and thinking patterns we’re talking about here, for the most part, it really is “tainted love” because it is tightly enmeshed with all kinds of restrictions and conditions.
David & Tommy believe that Real Love can be easily distinguished from “tainted love” by virtue of some key qualities:
Isn’t this the kind of love we all really want in our lives? Don’t you want to invite it into your life, too?
In this week’s webinar, David & Tommy investigate the differences between Real Love and “tainted love”, and they provide you with ways to eliminate the “tainted” variety. In the process, you learn more about how to ensure that you are only sharing Real Love with everyone in your life.
Watch the video, and join in the movement to rid the world of “tainted love”!

]]>One of the best ways to cultivate self-love is through a regular practice of conscious affirmation—that is, recognizing and acknowledging your power and magnificence, and creating positive assertions that help to deepen and expand the qualities and attributes you want in your life.
Affirmations are positive statements about yourself that you repeat—aloud or silently—in a deliberate and intentional way. It is well known that the things we repeat to ourselves tend to become firmly rooted in our minds as beliefs. The problem is, most of the things we tend to repeat to ourselves—unconsciously, for the most part—are generally pretty negative and disempowering. So, we can use positive affirmations as a way to reverse this thinking and believing process.
Of course, there is more to it than that—as you’ll find out in this week’s webinar!—but if used correctly, affirmations can really help to propel you in the direction of your purpose or of your deepest heart’s desire. This week, David & Tommy will discuss things like:

]]>There seems to be a commonly held belief among humans that we are all in competition with one another. We seem to believe that there is general scarcity everywhere, and that we have to fend for ourselves and make sure we get our share of whatever we imagine we need. This attitude and belief system has been so strong that some groups (those who perceive themselves as stronger or more righteous) have gone so far as to create wars with others in order to claim what they believe is rightfully theirs.
This general attitude has created divisions among people, and nowhere is this more visible than in the apparent division between men and women. In western culture, we have referred to this as The Battle of the Sexes, as if men and women are actually at war with one another.
Men have been heard to say things like “Women...you can't live with them, and you can't kill them.”
Women have been heard to say things like “Men...50% testosterone and 100% stupid.”
While these kinds of statements may seem funny in certain contexts, in reality they are actually hurtful comments that do nothing to improve relations between the sexes. At Life Mastery TV, we believe that it’s time to put a stop to this kind of thinking and to begin to heal the rift that we have created between women and men. So, this week, Tommy & David have invited two incredible women, Audra Erwin and Kristen Richardson—both of whom you have met in previous webinars—to balance out a discussion that they hope will motivate the creation of a
Ceasefire of the Sexes
Our intention during this particular show is to shed some light on the kinds of judgments that we have about each other, because we believe that—even if we don’t speak them out loud—our unconscious thoughts have a powerful impact on how we show up and how we treat other people.
This episode promises to be edgy and powerful. But as always, David & Tommy will keep things fun and educational. So, mark your calendar and join us for another FREE webinar.

]]>Every day we hear, see, or directly experience the results of heartbreak. A single mom driving her kids home from school. A dad calling his son on Monday morning to see how the weekend was. And now it’s official: the failure rate for marriages in the U.S. has surpassed the success rate!
So why are we so bad at this? More importantly, what can we do to get better at loving relationships?
We all seem to know about “Unconditional Love”, but who ever taught us what this really is? What it really means? How to actually do it?
We’re told to go out looking and, if we’re lucky, we’ll stumble upon the “right one” and fall in love. Are you serious? We’re leaving Love to chance? We’re lucky if we Stumble and Fall? How can that be?
When it comes to Love, questions like this seem quite common in the world:
Like most Life Matters, the secret to unlocking the truth of anything—including wonderful loving relationships—is right there inside you. Believe it or not, you are an unlimited source of loving thoughts and emotions. You have the ability to create as much pure love as you wish. And when you do—when you learn to Liberate Your Love—you’’ll be amazed at all the love you receive back.
We’re talking the good stuff, the real deal. Pure, unconditional, true Love.
Check out this week’s presentation and learn how to Make Love every day—you’ll be glad you did.

]]>Is anger really as bad as society seems to think it is? Is it as destructive as we seem to believe? Is there anything at all that is beneficial about anger? Is there a right way or a wrong way to deal with anger?
Anger is one of those topics that seem to polarize people into two camps that don’t have very much, if any, common ground between them. While our society seems perversely to glorify the kind of violence that accompanies war, we are pretty quick to condemn individuals who express their anger in any but the most modest and controlled way.
These are important questions, and we tackle some of them in this week’s presentation. If you have any challenges with anger in your life, you should take the time to check out this video, because we share some ways to

]]>What does it mean to have a Juicy Relationship? Perhaps certain words come to mind: intimate, connected, compassionate, loving, exciting, sexy, honest, open, and so on. But what makes a relationship juicy? And—assuming that you really want a juicy relationship—how do I get me one of those?
These are the sorts of questions we look at during Episode 17. And to help us do that, we’ve invited two amazing relationship specialists to join us: Tom Bartley and his wife and business partner Staci Welch-Bartley.
Tom and Staci have figured out how to create magic in a primary relationship and generously share some of their secrets with us right here. You are not going to want to miss this episode of our show, because it’s a very lively and exciting discussion about a subject that is important to all of us.

]]>When you are preparing to do something, you almost certainly start with some kind of plan, right? This is something that most of us do, and it’s a great idea. But no matter how much planning you do, there are always things that can go wrong, things that you can’t possibly anticipate. In other words, as the saying goes, you pretty much have to Expect the Unexpected!
Well, in this installment of Life Mastery TV, we tempt fate by having no plan at all! That’s right, in this episode, we come on the show with no specific agenda and just see what happens. But if you’ve watched us before, you just know that something interesting and magical will happen, no matter how things turn out.
If you like to step into the unknown now and then, and maybe feel a little fear in your body because you don’t know exactly what to expect, then this show is for you!
